AT HOME SERVICES
For some families, saying goodbye in the comfort of home is the most peaceful option. We offer at-home euthanasia services in our community. This allows your pet to remain in a familiar, stress-free environment during this hard time.
When the time comes, you want your pet’s passing to be as peaceful and comfortable as possible.
Planning the euthanasia of a pet you have loved and who has been part of your family for so many years is undoubtedly one of the most difficult times of your life. Ending or preventing a pet’s suffering is the most important gift a pet owner can bestow. We make every effort to make this difficult time easier for you and your family and to make it peaceful for your faithful friend.

We encourage you to talk with our veterinary team about these issues before they become an urgent matter. Find out about your options including cremation and grief counseling, make some key decisions ahead of time and ask us to add this information to your pet’s record. Taking the time to plan, as challenging as it may be, will lessen the pain and stress for you and your pet.
In the days, weeks, or months leading up to your pet’s final day, you can rely on our veterinarians to provide you with the support and information you need to make informed choices each step of the way.
All of us at Absecon Veterinary Hospital will do our best to help you prepare for these important issues with the compassion and sensitivity they require.
