Meet Dr. Alison DeCasperis

Dr. Alison DeCasperis has been with Absecon Veterinary Hospital since July, 2022. She graduated from Midwestern University of Veterinary Medicine in 2022 after studying Pre-Veterinary Medicine and Animal Biosciences with a minor in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation from the University of Delaware in 2018.

She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and is most interested in Diagnostic imaging, soft tissue surgery, and preventative care.

Dr. DeCasperis grew up in Hillsborough, NJ and spent her time watching Steve Irwin and saving the wildlife in her backyard. She volunteered at a wildlife refuge during the summer and during the summer, shadowed an equine veterinarian.

In her free time, she likes to hike, go to the beach, and spend time with family, friends and her pets Sophie and Calvin!
