Our Doctors

Kenneth Grossman, DVM
I started the Absecon Veterinary Hospital in 1980. Veterinary Medicine had always been a part of me since childhood, but the opening of this hospital was what I believed was the fruit of a very long educational path. I went to the University Of Wisconsin BS-Zoology, next to the University Of Bologna, Italy DVM, then to The University of Illinois and Iowa State University-Internship degree in Veterinary Medicine. The hospital's opening was not an end to the path but a beginning. Today I participate in all aspects of hospital life. I enjoy my day to day schedule as much as I have from the beginning. My wife and I have been married since 1973 and we have three grown children.

Donna Vittorelli, VMD
Hi, I am Dr. Donna Vittorelli. I went to LaSalle for my undergrad studies. I graduated from University of Pennsylvannia School of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. I am married and have 1 daughter, 4 cats, 1 dog and a betta fish. I love to surf.

Rachel Somershoe, VMD
Dr. Rachel Somershoe is a 2008 graduate from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Somershoe grew up in Southern New Jersey and joined the Absecon Veterinary Hospital in 1999 as a member of the kennel staff and then as a technician. She is very happy to be able to practice veterinary medicine near her hometown. Her Veterinary interests include behavior, internal medicine, and dentistry.

Dr. Somershoe spends her free time volunteering with the Crossroads Youth Group in Brigantine and hanging out with her husband, Eric, and their herd of animals. She also loves to vacation in New Hampshire where she can root for the Boston Red Sox!

Kimberlee Glenn, VMD
Dr. Glenn grew up locally in Margate and attended Holy Spirit High School. She was an undergrad at Villanova University and went on to get her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Glenn is married with three children. They enjoy spending time together at the beach in the summer and skiing in the winter.

Mary T. Langford, DVM
Born and raised in Kansas, Dr. Langford, acquired her bachelor of science degree in Dietetics, Restaurant and Institutional management from Kansas State University. She worked as a registered dietitian for approximately 15 years. During that time she also acquired her masters in business administration from the University of Missouri, in Kansas City. But animals were always her love, so back to Kansas State University to complete her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1997.

She moved to South Jersey in 1998, working in private practice, emergency medicine, and shelter medicine, and joined Absecon Veterinary Hospital in 2008. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, the beach, skiing, gardening and family pets.
